Pink Himalayan Salt Scrub

Pink Himalayan Salt Scrub

seasaltscrub (1 of 1)

This Pink Himalayan Salt Scrub is such a great recipe if you really need a good cleaning scrub for your hands. I use this all year round and it is fabulous and makes my hands so soft! Himalayan pink salt is one of the purest salts, derived from ancient sea salt mines, and is prized for its therapeutic properties on the skin. The minerals nourish, replenish and aide in detoxing the skin. This scrub also nourishes the skin with moisturizing coconut and jojoba oils, plus the scent of lavender and lemon essential oils is calming and relaxing.

Lavender Essential Oil is one of my favorites oils. It is so versatile and smells amazing! It’s the perfect oil to use in homemade beauty recipes.

lavenderLemon oil has been widely used in skin care throughout history. It has rejuvenating properties that increase the luster of dulling skin. I know my hands need a little brightening up, after hours gardening, or doing dishes – I’m always getting my hands dirty playing with my kiddos! So, this is just what I need and if this sounds familiar, I bet you need this too. 😉

In just a few minutes you can whip up this lightly scented salt scrub, it’s so easy to make. Keep it next to your sink and use when you are needing a little pampering.  I love this hand scrub and can’t wait to make a super moisturizing hand cream to compliment it next.

Someone gave to me a Christmas gift of a homemade salt scrub and it is wonderful. It leaves the skin so soft. I know the ingredients you use would create a wonderful scent. I love lavender and lemon, but have never used them together.

I always like to find recipies to make softer my hands. I like the idea of using Himalayan Salt to scrub it with Lavender and Lemon.
I think one should always take care of oneself. What a better way than to pamper you in this way. I am going to use this mix for a daily basis.

This sounds like a wonderful recipie. I think these two oils are wonderful and soothing. I like them both the Lavander and the Lemon. I was not aware that the Lemon oil uplifted your mood. So, that is great because it puts you in a good mood throughout the day. While you are smelling something that you like very much. I am definitely going to use this recipie.

Lavendar oil is very effective for moisturzing our skin. Can it be used all over the body? Does this scrub have any expiry period? How long can it be kept outside without compromising on its aroma?

“This scrub also nourishes the skin with moisturizing coconut and jojoba oils, plus the scent of lavender and lemon essential oils is calming and relaxing.” I agreed so, just like lemon hot tea is a kind of medicine for releasing cold. Also, if added a piece of lemon into to ice water, it is so cool.

Essential Oils are really great and refreshing both in mind, body and soul. This are must have in my household. Though here in Philippines Lavander is bit expensive and we don’t have an abundant supply of Lavander. Its been a great experience for me making variations of homemade concoctions, for body and home use.

I so need a scrub for softer hands. I feel my hands are aging way too fast because I’m always working and I hate to use gloves even while I do yard work. I love the smell of both lavender and lemons. What a great combo. So need to try this. Thanks for sharing.
